This is the fourth coin in the series of FHP Traffic Citation Challenge Coins. The coin measures-in at 6 inches long, 2.94 inches wide, 4 millimeters thick and weighs a half of a pound!
The size of the coin isn’t the only thing that makes this coin very special. The coin itself is FULL of hidden “Easter eggs” that are historically significant to the Florida Highway Patrol’s 85-year history. Can you find them all?
An example of one of the really cool features of the coin is the signature at the bottom of the citation. The signature is that of the Florida Highway Patrol’s first Colonel, H. Neil Kirkman, who is pictured on the front of the coin. The signature is historically accurate from a document signed by Colonel Kirkman in 1943.
