Depending on who you ask, challenge coins (or a variant thereof) originated at different times in history. Some stories date back to the Roman Empire where they rewarded soldiers by presenting them with coins to recognize their achievements. If soldiers excelled in battle one day, they would receive their day's wages along with a bonus coin. As the story goes, these bonus coins were specially minted and featured the marks of the legions from which they came. As a result, some of the soldiers kept their coins as keepsakes. Other stories date it back to the 17th century religious wars in France or to as recently as World War I or World War II where military members would carry them during war times. The tradition has spread into civilian law enforcement, fire, medical and even into the political and business world. In any event, the tradition is exciting and EXTREMELY addicting.

Challenge coin prices depend on quantity ordered, size, and thickness. We offer FLAT RATE CHALLENGE COIN PRICING. We don't believe in telling you one price for the coins and then adding additional mold fees and shipping later. These additional fees do nothing but drive the average price per coin higher and higher for you. We make the math simple. Multiply the number of coins you're ordering by the price per coin quoted and that's your cost. We do NOT charge extra for Ultraviolet (UV) Printing, special coin edge cuts, serializing (numbering) of coins, glow-in-the-dark paint, etc. One flat price, that's it.

That's right! You will not be charged for coin mold fees or shipping for any custom order placed with our company. Ever.

Go to our homepage and complete the short questionnaire while being as detailed as possible in the section about details of your coin. Please upload any pictures, artwork, sketches, etc. when you submit the form as those are a really big help. Trust us, you don't have to be a Picasso when sketching your ideas onto a sheet of paper (we won't judge you). A little sketch with some arrows pointing to what you want and where you want it goes a long way. If your coin will include certain logos or artwork, please upload the best resolution of those as possible. Once you submit the form, we'll then contact you with any questions and send you a quote!

We don't have a minimum order quantity. We'll make one coin, or one million coins. Obviously, the more coins you order, the better pricing per coin we can offer. We recommend going with at least 100 coins to get your best price. When you get into the 300, 400, or 500+ coin order range, we can really wheel and deal.

From the time all artwork is approved by you, you will have your custom order in your hands in about 3 to 4 weeks.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not 100% satisfied, we will do everything we can to make it right! While we’re unable to refund custom orders, we’ll continue working with you until the order is correct.

Yes, anything in the "Store" section of our website is for sale. While we will showcase examples of coins and other items we've completed for previous and current clients to show our capabilities and quality, we cannot sell their products.
